Mental Health Media- It’s Kind of a Funny Story

“‘It’s Kind of a Funny Story’ follows the tale of Greg, a burnt out teenager living in New York City. After ending up in a mental hospital due to suicidal ideation, Greg soon embarks on a journey of self-discovery told in a very light hearted way. I really enjoyed this book because it portrayed mental illness in a way that was both accurate and humorous. It takes the taboo out of mental health and normalizes talking about our problems.”
